Ashtanga Yoga style is dynamic, physically demanding practice synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. It requires a greater level of strength, coordination, balance and flexibility than other styles of Yoga, however as I have been teaching open, drop in classes for over 18 years I have created a style of teaching people of all levels. I encourage people to listen to their body and choose the level which suit them. No-one knows your body better than YOU. Never do anything you are not ready for or if you feel it's not good for you, look at your Yoga class as part of your real life, we are here to learn, respect, listen and get to know our own body. If you find a weakness you did not realize you had yoga will help you get stronger. You might have a permanent weakness after an injury, yoga can help you with the right teacher. You can become stronger all around your weakness, it will support your weakness so it will not affect your daily life.
